How to eliminate pet urine naturally
Most people are not familiar with the laws of nature or how nature takes care of itself. If you walk through a wooded area, where animals are living, it is rare to see any feces unless they are recently dropped. Nor do you smell urine. The reason is that nature eliminates its own organic waste. If you have feces or urine, they develop their own bacteria in a few days if there is enough moisture in the area. The bacteria will develop enzymes to break down the waste small enough for the bacteria to digest. The bacteria eat the waste and turn it into water and carbon dioxide. The urine will turn into ammonia and carbon dioxide.
Outside that is ok. Inside it is not so good. When your pet urinates on the carpet, wood or concrete floor, the urine will begin to develop its own bacteria to eliminate itself. You will begin to smell ammonia and know what is happening.
Not knowing what to do, you go to the store and buy whatever is available to get rid of the pet odor. Most products are disinfectants. These products kill the bacteria. When the bacteria are killed, you cannot smell the problem and you think it is solved. In a week or so the bacteria start again and you smell the ammonia again. You try the disinfectant again. The cycle starts again but does not solve the problem.
Bacteria will eat up the urine, turning it into water and carbon dioxide. The urine no longer exists. This is how nature does it.
Unique Pet Odor & Stain Eliminator is a bacterial product. It is not like most other bacterial products in the marketplace. Most are slow growing and take a long time to act. Our product is loaded with bacteria, which are jump-started to grow in minutes and hours. Pet Odor & Stain Eliminator will eat up most urine in hours. Of course it depends on how much urine is in the area.
A lady had three big dogs. She got a new puppy and it urinated in the living room, causing the other dogs to do the same. After three days of applying Pet Odor & Stain Eliminator and keeping it damp she called to say it had not worked. When asked if she could still smell the ammonia, she said yes. We told her that it was still working. Two days later she reported that the urine and odor were gone. When the odor or stain is gone, the urine is gone also.
Pet Odor & Stain Eliminator also eats up other organic waste, such as: blood, coffee, tea, grease, wine, vomit and grass stain.
Before using always test for color fastness by applying in a hidden area.
Do not apply sanitizers or disinfectants on surface 6 hours before or after treatment with Pet Odor Eliminator
Odors: In order to remove odor, it is best to mix 1 part Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator with 5 to 10 parts of water. Pour mixture directly on the affected area. If it is on carpet use enough of the mixture to saturate carpet. Cover the area with a warm, white, damp cloth. Sometimes there may be a heavy ammonia smell if there is a large amount of urine. If this happens, the process may need to be repeated one or two more times, every twelve hours until the odor is gone. For small problems premix the Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator and water and keep in a spray bottle. Do not mix more than can be used in seven days. The bacteria can go dormant and will not work.
For use in Carpet shampooer: Begin by putting hot water only in the machine and pull out as much of the urine as possible. Then fill the machine with very warm water and add 2-4 ounces of Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator for each gallon of water. Do not extract all the water from the carpet, the bacteria must have water to grow. Leave carpet damp and put damp, white towels over the area where there is urine.
Mattress: Premix 1 part Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator with 5 parts very warm water and apply enough to soak into the mattress as far down as the blood or urine or other organic material has soaked. Cover with a damp, white towel and keep damp several hours until the odor and stain are removed.
Laundry: Pour Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator full strength directly on the blood or organic stain, then put the garment into a pan of warm water, leave several hours, then wash in the washer.
Stains: Apply 1 part Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator, mixed with 5 to 10 parts water, directly on the stain. Put a damp, white towel on the stain and keep damp several hours. Stain will turn into water and will evaporate.
Blood Stains: Mix 1 part Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator with 5 parts water. Saturate stain and place a damp, white towel over the stain. Leave overnight. Next morning remove the towel. Protein from the blood will be gone. If there is still red color, then wipe it up with a damp towel.
Skunk Odors on Animals: Mix 1 part Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator with 2 parts warm water and apply to the animal with a sponge and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse off. An antibacterial soap can be used to kill any bacteria left on the animal.
