QMI Non-Melting Grease is a custom engineered, non-melting grease to meet the most demanding grease lubrication conditions today.
QMI Non-Melting Grease provides long term protection beyond even the most sophisticated greases.
Functional under conditions range from -20°F (-29°C) to intermittent temperatures of +550°F (+288°C), this grease offers allweather pumpability, anti-rust protection, and is resistant to water penetration even when subjected to extreme moisture conditions. It “stays put” with superior adhesion and cohesion. Use of this grease may reduce lubrication intervals as much as five to one.
QMI Non-Melting Grease provides protection in a wide variety of applications, including ovens, kilns, kiln car wheel bearings, coal stokers, exhaust fans, plastic extruders, molding machines, hot corrugator bearings, etc., also wheel bearings, ball and universal joints, motor bearings, chassis, king pins, fifth wheels, pump bearings, pump shafts, valves, propeller shafts, outboard press fittings and stuffing boxes. For high temperature services, overlubrication can be more damaging than under-lubrication. At elevated temperatures it is best to utilize half as much grease, but ensuring that the grease is spread in a thin layer over all surfaces.
QMI Non-Melting Grease is strongly recommended in problem areas caused by high temperature, high moisture, corrosive environments, or where regular lubrication intervals are difficult due to inaccessibility or irregular attention.
Purge out old lubricant or incompatible grease with QMI Non- Melting Grease, or use more frequent lubrication intervals when replacing an unknown lubricant. After the old lubricant is purged out, lubrication intervals can often be extended beyond original intervals.
