This is a demonstration to show how different fuel treatments react with water in your fuel and also how well they burn in your vehicle.

First, we have added equal parts of fuel and fuel treatment into the beaker at the left.  Then we have taken water, colored with green food coloring and added it to this mixture.  After mixing the beaker, you can see how well each fuel additive mixes with the fuel and water to eliminate it from your system.

Second, we have taken a small amount of each fuel additive and put it into a metal spoon.  We then have used a small torch to ignite the fuel treatment.  In each case we speak of the flash point, which tells you how readily it ignites, indicating the good or bad primary cleaning agents.  Low flash point is desired.  You can also see how well the fuel treatment burns and more importantly, what is left in your combustion chamber when the burn is complete.

Compare the rest to the best!

In the beaker of QMI Fuel Treatment, fuel and colored water, you can see that the water has bonded completely with the fuel treatment, enabling it to be burnt with efficiency in the combustion chamber.  In the spoon burn test, the QMI Fuel Treatment has a low flash point, which is good, has burnt clean, leaving a secondary lubrication and cleaning agents to dissolve existing carbon, resulting in a clean combustion for less emissions, longer fuel pump, injector, and cylinder life and better fuel economy.   Excellent for Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel.  buy QMI now

In the beaker of Howe's, fuel and colored water, you can see that the Howe's did not absorb the water, but it then settled immediately to the bottom of the beaker.  In the spoon burn test, the Howe's has a medium flash point, burns very dirty, sooty and leaves sticky residue with absolutely no lubrication or secondary cleaning agents.

In the beaker of Power Service, fuel and colored water, you can see that the Power Service did not absorb the water, but it then settled immediately to the bottom of the beaker.  In the spoon burn test, the Power Service has a medium flash point, burns very dirty, sooty and leaves an extremely sticky, tacky residue with absolutely no lubrication or secondary cleaning agents.

In the beaker of Lucas, fuel and colored water, you can see that the Lucas did not absorb the water, allowing it to settle immediately to the bottom of the beaker.  Lucas also did not readily mix with the fuel, but stayed in the bottom of the beaker, indicating extremely poor mixing properties.  In the spoon burn test, the Lucas has a very high flash point (not good, nearly comes to a boil before it will flash), burns extremely dirty and sooty, with no lubrication or secondary cleaning agents.
